“My Sundance Obsession” is a big winner!
We are very happy to announce that our short film “My Sundance Obsession” has been awarded the Special Jury Prize at the 2013 California Film Festival. The Special Jury Prize is awarded up to a maximum of only 5 films that exemplify outstanding vision and creativity in their respective categories. It’s the festival’s 2nd most prestigious award behind only the Grand Jury Prize. We couldn’t be more proud of our little film. The festival received almost 1000 submissions this year from all over the world so this is really amazing and unbelievable. We want to take a moment to thank all those who made this project possible. Our lead actress and executive producer Debbie Tsamoudakis, our supporting cast: Jace Nicole, Joshua Hampton, Tom Lyle, Nic Detorie and Vanessa Rae Bent. Our Director of Photography Toroes D. Thomas, our Key grips and background extras Michelle Rojas and Christopher Cole, our Production Assistant Janisa Ramos and to my amazing Production Manager, my beautiful wife Mariely Lopez. Thank you all! The Awards Ceremony will take place January 25th, 2014 in San Diego, California.

Towson Award Program Honors the Achievement
TOWSON October 21, 2014 — New Style Independent Pictures has been selected for the 2014 Best of Towson Award in the Video Production Service category by the Towson Award Program.
Each year, the Towson Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Towson area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2014 Towson Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Towson Award Program and data provided by third parties.
